“Steady Hands” is a compilation of writings from 27 poets around the world dedicated to giving that special nod of appreciation towards the men who have raised us up to be the humans that we are today. Linda Lokhee’s poem won first runner up in the competition earning her a place in this book.

We thank you dear fathers, as your steady hands have acted as guiding lights for us. With your love, we have travelled far from the little children we once were, to being the people we are now.
